The Rio based organization CCI, located in the community Vila Kennedy, has been working with children and teenagers for the last five years. Currently they take care of 179 children from 3 to 18 years.

CCI is an officially registered NGO that offers children and youth fundamental skills which will help them to better integrate in the Brazilian society. The organization enables parents to go to work and make money for their living, knowing that their kids are not exposed to the hard reality of drugs, prostitution and violence that affect the community.

CCI also offers cultural, social and environmental workshops, school support and sport activities like football, volleyball, karate, yoga and capoeira as well as dance and language classes.

CCI is convinced that education is a crucial precondition for children to achieve their dreams and goals and make a better life for themselves.
